Our Story
Family-run since 1949
The story of the Lynwood Café begins in 1949 when Alfonse and Josephine Skiermont purchased the small neighborhood restaurant and bar in Randolph, Massachusetts (originally opened in 1937). Our legendary café has been family-run ever since; their son Francis and his wife Pauline ran the restaurant for many years, warmly serving the community with great food and cold beer. Today it is run by Stephen and Pamela, the great-grandchildren of Alfonse and Josephine, who continue their legacy of hospitality.
Our commitment to quality and consistency has made the Lynwood Café a local legend of South Shore bar pizza. Using our original ovens and the same recipe since the 1960s, we’ve served our buttery biscuit crust, zesty tomato sauce, and aged cheddar cheese to generations, a staple of family pizza nights.
For over 70 years, we’ve proudly served the community. The Lynwood Café has been a place to run into a neighbor or to chat with someone new, where anyone can relax, enjoy, and take a moment with family and friends. So many people have welcomed us into their lives, and we feel honored to have shared in countless gatherings over a Lynwood Café pizza.
